About this Cook
I LOVE TO EAT!!
My favorite things to cook
Adapting any meals for my vegetarian daughter.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas Eve Meal of the Seven Fishes.
My cooking triumphs
Poached Norwegian Salmon with Scallop Mousse
My cooking tragedies
When I was about nine years old I decided to make homemade meatballs. The recipes called for 3 cloves of garlic which I thought meant 3 entire bulbs of garlic. We had to leave the house to air it out for awhile!!

Mulligatawny Soup I
Recipe is off the wall. Made it for a soup party and it was the favorite soup there. Like others I doubled the curry, used Basmati rice and since I like soups on the creamier side I used a can of coconut milk along with the heavy cream. Would like to know if it really gets better after a day or so, but there were no leftovers!!!

Chocolate and Almond Biscotti
My first try at biscotti and it turned out excellent. I also added another egg and then it seemed to have enough moisture to hold together. I also chopped all the almonds, instead of leaving some of them whole. I got about 40 pieces because I like my logs a little larger. Biscotti is full of flavor and not hard as a brick.
