Cafe Mocha Mini Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2007
These muffins were good, but not spectacular. They were your typical chocolate chip muffins with a hint of coffee. Maybe if they were full size, they wouldn't have been a little dry.

Cinnamon Bread Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2007
These were delicious! I was even able to use day old bread since it's rolled in butter and cinnamon sugar. Warning though, the recipe makes a lot more filling then you'd need. Half the recipe and use the full amount of bread. Can't wait to make again!

Mini Crescent Burgers

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2007
This was AWESOME! I added a pickle, per another reviewer and it was terrific. I didn't cut the crescent rolls in half since these were for adults. Excellent recipe - can't wait to make again!

Ham and Cheese Pasta Bake

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2007
It's easy to make, but pretty bland in flavor. I'll keep it solely for using left over ham, but I sure wouldn't buy a ham specially for this one.

Beefy Biscuit Cups

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2007
So simple and very good! After reading the reviews, I tried several different displays. **I followed the recipe and used a whole biscuit in the muffin pan and they turned out fine, a little biscuity to me. **In another, I only used half of a biscuit in the muffin pan and this turned out great. **On a cookie sheet, I flattened out a biscuit and used it as a biscuit base with toppings and that was TERRIFIC! **Lastly on the cookie sheet, I used half a biscuit as a base with toppings and turned out good. I will definitely make this recipe again. My 4 year old loved the little "pizzas."

Tater Tot Casserole I

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2007
Excellent recipe. I followed others recommendation and added an extra egg (3 total) and cooked a tad longer. Also put in salt and pepper. My two 4 year olds loved it. :-)

Ham N Cheese Quiches

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2007
These were absolutely delicious! I used sharp cheddar in lieu of monteray jack (what I had on hand). I also made some into regular size muffin pans for bigger quiches, and they also cooked in about 30 minutes too. Highly recommended!!

Amish Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2007
I used deer sausage instead of bacon, hoping it would give it more spice. Unfortunately, it didn't. The blandness of the potatoes and eggs left much to be desired for. Maybe add some jalapeno's or chile's next time. If nothing else, some crushed red pepper would be welcome to your tastebuds.

Creamy Vegetable Medley

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2007
This recipe was very bland. I followed it as directed and it left my tastebuds wondering if I was just eating cardboard. It needs something that will pack a punch, like sundried tomatoes or saffron seasoning. More than likely, I will not make this again.

Yogurt Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2007
I liked the recipe, however, next time I will make a change. The chicken breasts I used were fresh and pretty thick and therefore only the outside edges got the lemony yogurt flavor. Next time, I'm going to cut the chicken into tender size pieces and follow the coating and bread crumbs, so that more of the lemony yogurt flavor can be tasted in each bite.

Musaka

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2007
I used this as a base and made some changes. I used beef broth instead of water, crushed tomatoes instead of tomato sauce and omitted the olive oil. Seasonings ended up being 2t of Cilantro, 2t of Basil and 2t of Thyme. The dish tasted fabulous - especially the yogurt/egg top!! Warning - I had to up the temp of the oven (from 325 to 375) and cook on speed bake an additional 20 minutes (after the initial 40 minutes) to get the potatoes to cook through. Knowing this, I'll definitely make this again, but will double the egg/yogurt topping mix.

Pasta with Asiago Cheese and Spinach

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2004
The idea is good, but it needs some sauce and less spinach. The tomatoes give it an over bearing taste as well. It was hard to choke it down as a left over. Will not make again.

Melt In Your Mouth Pork Chops

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2004
I used chicken breasts instead of pork chops. The taste was fabulous. However, it did seem like an awful long time to cook. Also, there was an abundance of the sauce left over which ended up as waste.

Easy Tomato and Eggplant Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2004
I love eggplant, but this was the worst tasting soup I've ever made. I added salt and basil and I still ended up not being able to stomach it. Will not make again.
