About this Cook
My earliest cooking memories are quite embarassing. Not knowing if you mash the potatoes before or after boiling them ranks up there! But I've come a long way and enjoy cooking for my husband, friends and family - including my one year old little boy.
My favorite things to cook
Now that we have a baby who is eating table food, we're increasing our vegetables and eating healtier. Women's Health magazine has had some amazing recipes that work well with our schedule and are quick, easy and healthy too!

Balsamic Strawberries
Fantastic! I was wary of the balsamic vinegar, but other reviewers were right, there wasn't the vinegary taste at all. My hubby couldn't even guess what the sauce had in it. Truly gourmet taste. I'll be making this for company - maybe even for Mother's Day! Thanks!

Speedy Spaghetti
Great recipe! I used part of a jar of prepared spaghetti sauce and one can of tomato sauce and seasoned to taste. Loved how easy it was. Thanks!

Breakfast Upside Down Cake
Definitely a keeper! Great for substitutions too. Used some thawed french fries in place of diced potatoes. Took advice of earlier poster and cooked bacon first and used bacon drippings to saute onion, red pepper, garlic and potatoes. Parchment paper is a must for a non-stick flip. Mine worked perfectly. Can't wait to put it in the weekend rotation! Thanks!
