Creamy Caramel Flan
This is the way my grandma taught me to make flan when I was kid. I do mix all of the ingredients in a blender. It is delicious just the way it is, but sometimes, for a change, I add a jar of Guava Jam or paste, and for Thanksgiving, I add a can of mashed pumpkin to the mix. The kids love it!

Basil Shrimp
Great recipe! I added chardonnay and lemongrass to the marinade. My picky husband and kids loved it. Will definitely have to make more next time! I served it in a bed of wilted spinach, and made tostones (fried plantains)with dipping mojo as side dish. This seemed to have paired off wonderfully. This recipe's a keeper in our book! :o)
