SO SO SO good! This is the world's best pasta sauce! It totally tastes like something you would get out at a restaurant & I was surpised that I had made it at home myself!

Chicken and Biscuit Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2008
My husband & MIL loved it! I did not care for it but that was b/c I used turkey & have decided I don't think I really like turkey that much anymore...Anyways, they said it was fantastic & I will be making again with chicken. Rather than fresh veggies, I used a bag of frozen veggies that I would have used in a pot pie & forgot the onion.

Day Before Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2008
I made these for Thanksgiving dinner & they were good, but I don't rememeber thinking they were out of this world. I think that I need to make them again when I can actually try to enjoy them & make sure they don't stay in the over longer than they should. I will say they were good the night before when I made them up & they smelled incredible when I was putting them away for the night. Will be making again for sure to give another try!

Steak Burritos

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2008
These weren't my favorite, but they were OK. The meat was very tender! My MIL made these for nephews birthday dinner. They said were really easy & impressed with the fact that there was no water needed! Made it's own juices and was very tender.

Fabulous Wet Burritos

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2008
Don't let the name gross ya out...these were GREAT! Mother in law made these for newphews birthday dinner (he requested beef burritos) and they were really good! Next time would not put the tomato soup in the sauce though. We all thought that was a bit much. Will make these myself at our house for dinner as they were that good!

Taco Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2008
I loved it! My husband thought too much sour cream. I put into a square pan as it said & ended up only using half of my crescent package as it said to cover the bottom of the pan & that's all it took. Maybe I misread something...VERY possible! Anyways, this ones a keeper & I will be making again whether the hubs liked it or not.

This was great! I used 1/2 pkg of mild sausage and didn't use any olive oil. WAY more than 4 servings though. Can't wait for some leftovers at lunch tomorrow! This ones a keeper! Thank you for posting!

Meatloaf with Fried Onions and Ranch Seasoning

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2008
My husband said this was better than my meatloaf & that's saying a lot! He always hated meatloaf until mine & now requests it all the time! SO for him to say this one's better - WOW! I thought it was really good too & I think our household has a new meatloaf recipe! I did only have a 2.8 oz can of the Durkee fried onions & think that was plenty! This one's a keeper, thanks for posting!

Corn Fritters

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2008
good but bland. Even when I added some garlic salt they were bland. I wanted something else to give them something extra. Maybe some cheese in the mix next time? My husband said they were better once you put butter on them but I didn't want the extra fat! Will play with the recipe & make again I think though...

Drop Dead Delicious Tuna Salad

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2008
This was GREAT! I cute the recipe in half & it looked a little soupy when I opened the bowl this morning, but it's great! I think you could add another can of tuna or a bit less lemon juice from being as thin. Had a great taste though! Thanks for posting this recipe - it's a keeper!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2008
My husband thought it was way too salty. Loved the size of the stew meat though as he says my pieces are always way too big. I usually use round steak in my Mom's recipe that I have always made. I liked this, but not nearly as well as my Mom's and her's is fast. Will stick with my Mom's. Always gotta try new recipes though, you never know when you may find a new favorite! This was just not it this time. It did cook up too much on the sides & I had to turn off finally & that was beore 5 hours on high. The meat was really tender though & I loved that! I would eat again, but not my hubby.

Sunshine Toast

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2008
I had never had anything like this before & really didn't care for it that much. The bread was more like french toast and I would prefer to just have regular toast with my fried egg. Not bad, but not a keeper for me. Just personal preference.

Mom's Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2008
I misread the recipe & did 2 cans of pumpkin rather than 2 cups of pumpkin puree. I was worried it wouldn't come out & I think it tasted great! Cooked for quite a bit over the time it said. that's when I realized what I had done! Anyways, great pumpkin pie flavor! This recipe is a keeper!

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 2, 2008
So good! So spicy! Next time I will throw in a red bell pepper, some water chestnuts & broccoli to add a bit. Didn't even think about it since the recipe didn't call for anything other than chicken. I made up the full amount of sauce but only used 2 chicken breasts & this was perfect on the sauce for us as everything ususally seems to have not enough. I served with rice & egg rolls. It was really good & this one's a keeper for sure! UPDATE - made with sirloin & was really good!! Hubby said he liked even better than with the chicken!

Chicken Breasts with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic

So good! Pretty quick & easy to fix too. I would double the sauce next time though. My husband said reminded him of my Chicken Marsala, but I can taste enough of a difference to say they are different. Sure good & this one's a keeper!

Chicken and Broccoli Braid

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2008
My Mother in law and I really enjoyed this! My husband does not like broccoli so he said he was not eating this & he did! He just picked it out. He was tellng me what he wants me to do next time as he liked the cresent roll around it so much he'd like me to amke it into a pot pie of sorts. So sounds like I will be making again with some changes to suite his taste. I loved it though & thought it was great just the way it was! This one's a keeper!

Chicken Noodle Casserole II

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2008
So easy & so yummy! My mother in law and I (who love casserole's) loved it, but my husband did not. I used minced onion from the bottle rather than cooking real in butter. I just mixed it in with everything & it was faster and very tasty! Used a little less than 1 cup of cheese on top, used Ritz crackers crumbled up & only used 2 large cans of Swanson's white chunck chicken. Can't wait for leftovers at lunch today! This one's a keeper!

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2008
THE BEST Banana bread EVER! This is a keeper for sure, my banana bread of choice - it was so good, so easy & so moist! I made 6 mini loaves & baked for 30 minutes. Put chopped walnuts on some & left some plain. LOVED the walnuts, but I know my husband wouldn't want them on his. I do have another from the website, Banana Sour Cream Bread that I thought was the best, but boy this one gave that one a run for it's money! It has a lot less ingredients & I liked that. The other one is still a favorite though too...This one's a keeper FOR SURE! Thank you so much for posting this wonderful recipe!
