About this Cook
Wife, and stay at home mommy of 3 boys. My kitchen looks like a mini Williams Sonoma, and I know everything there is to know about food; EVERYTHING. You'd think that make me a great cook, but I'm not. I'm just a wannabe foodie, that had some very generous wedding guests, trying to improve dish by dish.
My favorite things to cook
Tinga, Soups, Cheesecakes, Quick Breads, Cakes
My favorite family cooking traditions
Mom invites me to help in the kitchen. I grab the chefs knife. Mom remembers I'm left handed, and kicks me out of the kitchen. Happens every time.
My cooking triumphs
To be announced
My cooking tragedies
Rice is not my friend!

Grilled Delmonico Steaks
I omitted the 2 tb. of salt and this was still INSANELY salty. Even if it hadn't been I think the flavor would of overpowered the beef which is what you want to taste when you buy rib-eyes.

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies
I get that this is an indulgence but 3 CUPS OF SUGAR is obscene, period! May as well eat the sugar out of the carton because that's all you'll taste here.

Whit's Chicken Enchiladas
I would refer to these as chimichangas or flautas NOT enchiladas. Whatever you want to call them, they are awfully rich and just okay in my book.- Would not make again.
