About this Cook
I was a caterer for nine years and decorated cakes as well as serving food at parties, weddings, etc.
My favorite things to cook
I like to experiment with baked goods, soups, stews, meats, decorated cakes, and any kind of cooking or baking.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Turkey and stuffing, popovers, veggie caserole, mashed potatoes, and stuffing. Chex mix, my own version, truffles, French silk pie, pumpkin, cranberries, beans, caseroles that I create, corn bread, all foods in general with my own personal touch.
My cooking triumphs
I had a recipe published in a farm magazine and won first prize. Zucchini Italian version. I have catered many weddings with all types of foods.
My cooking tragedies
Pumpkin cake without sugar. YUK!

Kosher Salt Encrusted Prime Rib Roast
This was the best prime rib. I made it for Christmas and my picky eaters even liked it. They could not get enough. I roasted the prime rib at 200 degrees for about 5 hours to medium doneness and did not change a thing on the recipe. Very good.
