About this Cook
I have just recently had a baby boy, Tennessee "Mac," and I am a full time Mama now. I enjoy cooking every day for my husband and myself. I am always looking for new things to try and old recipes to perfect. I love cooking, it's my passion.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook skillet meals (chicken with fresh herbs and some kind of crazy sauce), casseroles and I love to bake bread and cookies. I also obsess about the perfect appetizers for get togethers.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My Mama, sister, and I used to make Christmas cookies every year. I would like to come up with a couple cooking traditions to cook with my son every year. I don't have too many traditions in my family, so I want to start some.
My cooking triumphs
Chicken enchiladas, spicy fettucine alfredo, and Kahlua brownies are everybody's favorites of mine.
My cooking tragedies
I CANNOT MAKE BISCUITS. It is the thorn in my foot. I've tried it all. One of these days, I will master them. I SWEAR IT!!!!!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople
Yes Folks, this is the best. That's all that needs to be said. I did add tsp. good vanilla and ground cinnamon to apples. I might take this one to the fair! Thanks Moshasmama!!!

Sweet Dinner Rolls
Thanks so much for the recipe, Donna!!! This will be my GO TO recipe for everything from rolls to loaf bread. I just made one regular loaf of bread and a pan of 7 cinnamon rolls out of one batch of dough. YUM!!! Turned out AWESOME. Thank you thank you.....

Bread Pudding II
Very good recipe. No "WOW" factor, but very good. I used sourdough bread. I will make again, but I might play around w/some additional ingredients, like chocolate chips or something. Thanks for the recipe, Ellen.
