About this Cook
I am a recent college graduate and I am trying to figure out my own style of cooking. Now that I actually have some time and some more money, I can throw out the Ramen noodles and explore the wonderful world of food.
My favorite things to cook
I love baking. Anything that has to do with something sweet is always fun.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Christmas Eve dinner is my favorite family tradition. We all gather at my grandmothers house and everyone comes together and makes the most amazing things.
My cooking triumphs
I made some awesome cream puffs once. They were a lot bigger then they should have been, but they were very good. I also made an amazing brie en croute for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it.
My cooking tragedies
For my boyfriend's birthday I tried to make a homemade triple layer cake. I had never made a homemade cake before. It was a disaster. All three layers collapsed and the icing just melted off. We took a picture and it now hangs in our kitchen. :)

Mom's Squash Casserole
Excellent! I ended up creating a cream of chicken base instead of using cream of mushroom soup. I also used bread crumbs instead of croutons on top since I did not have any on hand. Still game out great! I will definitely make this again!

Chicken Pot Pie V
This was awesome! It was my first time making homemade pot pie and it turned out great. I did change it a little bit though. I did not use cream of chicken soup, I just added two extra cups of chicken broth and added 3 tablespoons flour and some milk as well. Basically makes the same thing. I also just had the crust on the top for the sake of it being easier. It was awesome and I will definitely make this again!
