In 2003 I had an adjustable gastric band (lapband) installed. Installed sounds funny. Anyway, at the time I was 35 and had NEVER enjoyed cooking. since then it has become one of my favorite things and a relaxation. Who knew? I have let go of 160 lbs with the lapband and found that I love to cook! My lapband journey is at www.fisherchristine.addr.com/band.html Changes. I get on different kicks and get stuck on certain things for a while, then move on. We have just started family game night once a month and do a theme potluck. This month is German, which was very hard for me as a vegetarian : ) Other people actually finding food that I cook to be edible! Learning experiences, not tragedies.
