Fresh Peach Cobbler II

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2009
heating the fruit first really does make a big difference in the amount of liquid. I have made this twice and both times I didn't have a soupy mess. Versatile recipe - I added a few berries I had, some fresh ginger and cut the sugar by 1/4 cup. Yummy!

Really delicious - and if you use matzo meal, Kosher for Passover! Really good with Asian Chili Sauce to dip in.

Buttermilk Chocolate Cake with Fudge Icing

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2008
The cake batter was very liquidity, and mine seemed to rise too quickly, so the middle sunk a bit. Also, took longer to cook, which could be my altitude (3000). The cake was delicious but I did a 1/2 cup of cocoa as others suggested. I frosted with chocolate buttercream frosting, no complaints here!

Lubia Polo (Green Bean Rice)

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2006
This was just ok, a bit on the bland side and the green beans were too mushy for my taste. Made way to much!

Indian Dahl with Spinach

This recipe is delicious, even without spinach. The coconut milk really adds something.

very tasty, but i probably only used 3.5 cups of sugar and it was plenty sweet.

This was good, didn't need the milk at all. Also, used less sugar in the topping.

Delicious, even my picky 11-year old loved it (without the hot peppers).

Brazilian Chicken with Coconut Milk

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2006
This was surprisingly bland. Though, i had extra leftover chicken that I didn't put into the sauce, and made a really amazing chicken salad with it. Just some mayo and a little lemon, it was fantastic.
