MMMMMMMMM.....Delicious! Just follow the recipe as is...if you don't have buttermilk, add some lemon juice to milk....works just as well.

I've been looking for this recipe for a while and finally found it. It's perfect for decorating and tastes good too! What fun, I just used regular food coloring from the supermarket, a bread knife and a plastic baggie with the tip cut off a tiny bit and look what I made! For the next occasion, I'll use a proper piping bag and some good gel or paste color and see what I can come up with....

Beautiful! I found the recipe I was looking for. These are perfect just as is. I used just butter but otherwise stuck to the recipe and these cookies are sooo yummy!! Thanks for the great recipe!
