Quinoa and Black Beans

I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty this dish was. When I make again I am going to try adding a chopped tomato, serrano pepper and fajita chicken. This is a great base recipe and will be fun to play around but is definitely good as is!

Too Much Chocolate Cake

I normally don't like chocolate cake because it is spongy and doesn't taste like rich chocolate. This cake was incredible. Definitely on my list to make a lot!

Slow Cooker Mashed Potatoes

These were the best! I boiled the red potatoes whole until tender, then removed the skin. (very easy this way) I did not have sour cream on hand so I added whole milk to taste. I also melted the butter and warmed the milk while mashing potatoes. These had a wonderful creamy consistency. Will never use another recipe for mashed potatoes again. This is it!

Tex-Mex Beef and Cheese Enchiladas

I am from Texas but live in Tennessee. We miss the Tex-Mex food the most so thank you for this wonderful recipe. It brings Tex-Mex to us!!

Spinach Brownies

This was awesome, awesome, awesome. YOU DON"T HAVE TO COOK THE SPINACH BEFORE!!! It still turned out great. I did add flavored garlic herb feta cheese to it. Next time I will add bacon as well. A great way to eat your spinach :)

Old Fashioned Paradise Pumpkin Pie

This pie was very good. Everyone loved it but me. However, I am not a pumpkin pie fan at all. So to say I liked this pie is a big deal. I will plan to mix the layers next time I make it and see how it turns out.

Sloppy Joes II

These were great. I will never by the canned again. I took the advice of others and doubled the sauce. I used the recommended amount of brown sugar and they were sweet but that is the way I like them. I am sure they would be good with bbq sauce too! Thanks for sharing.

Restaurant Style Mac and Cheese

I am giving this a 5 star because my kids loved it and it was easy....no baking. This is a very good and basic recipe. I have tasted 5 cheese mac that is better. If it is easy and the kids love it what more could I want? :)

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

This was awesome!!! Never buying cheesecake again. I did add cinnamon and sugar to the crust. Also followed other reviewers advice and did not bake it until set but turned off the oven after 1 hour and forgot about it. No cracking. Just a beautiful and delicious cheesecake.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Ok this is awesome chili. I got rave reviews from all who tried it. I have to admit it is pretty labor-intensive for chili. This is a special occasion kind of a thing for me but probably the best out there.

I have to rave about this recipe!! It is super easy and very, very good. My husband liked it a lot and I have spoiled him by making the more labor-intensive boilermaker recipe from this site. I don't know if I will ever make it again as this is easy and just as good in my opinion!!!

Broccoli Casserole III

This was the best broccoli casserole I have ever had. I used fresh broccoli, doubled the cheese. I did not shred the cheese and it turned out great.
