Russian Mushroom and Potato Soup

This soup was ok, it was pretty bland. It tasted like cream of mushroom and cream of potato soup combined. This will be a good alternative when I don't want to use the canned versions in other recipes. Not too impressive alone.

good flavor and texture. mine didn't turn out 'velvety', but maybe my strainer isn't fine enough. nice way to use my overgrown snow peas from the garden.

Chocolate Zucchini Cake III

This is the best cake I've ever made from scratch. It is so moist. The first time I made it I was short one egg, and it turned out fine, so I've made it that way every time. I froze shredded zucchini so I can bake this cake in the winter!

i made two with soyrizo and two with real chorizo. the soyrizo ones turned out awesome!! the chorizo peppers weren't quite as impressive, but were still good.

Brined and Roasted Chicken Pieces

Very good, skin is full of flavor. I didn't add the sugar or the egg. Served it with crusted-brined baked potatoes. You can brine the potatoes in a separate container, then coat in rock salt and seasoning before baking.
