Banana Bread V
I've made this bread 2 different ways: (1) all white sugar and (2) 1/2 white, 1/2 brown. They're both good but I think the way with the 1/2 brown sugar is a bit sweeter. I also used every time butter instead of margarine, added 1 t. vanilla, omitted the nuts and used 1 1/3 c. banana. Baked for 70 minutes. Used the recipe for mini muffins and it made 3 dozen. So easy and delicious. Gave it 4 stars due to the modifications.

Lebanese Garlic Sauce
I was looking for a recipe that duplicated the garlic sauce from Zankou chicken. This was great! Next time I might substitute 1/2 of the olive oil with canola, the sauce had a strong olive oil taste. Served with grilled chicken, lamb, tabouleh & pita bread.

Instant Vegetable Patties
Although the filling is very tasty, I didn’t like the crescent wrapping. The overwhelming buttery taste of the dough didn’t seem to match. I used Pillbury brand which had 6 crescents. The package did say “butter flavor” but that’s all the grocers had. My 6 year old loved them though. Will try it again with possibly puff pastry or other plain refrigerated dough.
