I am currently the President of the Culinary Art Society of Ajijic (CASA) which is our local gourmet cooking club. We have 55 members, meet once a month and compete for prizes in two different categories. Most of our judges are former gourmet chef's or successful restaurant owners. Good ol' southern soul food. I moved to the south when I was still a teenager and spent the next 40 years there, then moved to Mexico. I also love to make experiemnt at making desserts a new Italian dishes.
