Fried Dill Pickles

I doubled coated these, although the process of making these turned out fine, the taste wasn't great...was my first time trying 'fried pickles'..I think I'll stick to eating it out of the jar.

Fish Tacos

This entire dish just goes together wonderfully. The sauce, cabbage, and fried fish all seem to tango with each other and it is delish!

This was excellent, I think it is important to let the jalapeno sit after you did the initial coating, this will help the coating to stick when fried. For the filling, 12 oz of cream cheese was way too much, I used 8 oz and still had plenty left over. Some mentioned it being bland, I seasoned the mixture with more bacon, onion and garlic powder, and garlic salt. My hubby requested these for football snacks.

Thai Pineapple Chicken Curry

Being cambodian (southeast asian) this dish did not taste authentic but rather something you would find at a 'chinese' take out. I tried this recipe and smoked kaffir leaves (if you can find any) which is essential to asian cooking. The combination of spices and veggie produced a very mild flavor.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

Although this is too much chocolate for sure...yet it taste too 'processed'. If you want to eat highly processed dessert, go for it. It was good but can't get the fact that it was made from highly processed food items...

Perfect Sesame Chicken

This was very good, the sauce was way too much, will reduce it next time. Also I reduced the amount of sugar to 2/3 c.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

This was very good, I think I will definitely add chicken broth instead of water or make my own stock, also may want to add a can of carrots and peas. So easy and taste like grandma!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

The best zucchini bread I ever made. Delicious and so moist. Try it! Update: I tried the low-fat way, substituting oil for apple sauce, it didn't turn out as great as with the fat. I say bake it 100% with 'real fat' than man-made substitution. Of course, eat it with moderation.
