I liked to know if any khmer ladies or gents have the recipe for cambodian curry chicken.  My mom makes this when I go back home, but her recipe isn't based on measurements but a pinch of this and that.  The cambodian curry chicken is normally served with french bread or Japanese… MORE

About this Cook
I am a mother of three, my husband is in the US Coast Guard. We move around a lot. I started cooking when I married my husband, I guess you can say I forced myself to. I wanted my family to eat homecook meals like how my parents raised me on. With allrecipes.com, it has been such a wonderful experience for me to try new recipes here that are incredibly good! In my spare time, I enjoy playing with my kids, reading historical fiction and KJV bible, outdoor activities and trying new recipes.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook southern food, asian, mexican, italian and desserts.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom would always cook for us (we hardly eat out), she passed this tradition on to me and now I'm passing it on to my daughter. I grew up eating fish and lots of vegetables. Since my husband is all-american and I'm cambodian. We switch back and forth on our culture and sometime merge the two!
My cooking triumphs
I've learned to make better italian dishes just because of allrecipes!
My cooking tragedies
Baking cookies that came out so hard that it nearly broke my grandpa fragile tooth.

Red Skinned Potato Salad
I didn't add 2 cups of mayo, I used about 1/2 cup of mayo and some sour cream, lightly coated, the flavor comes through when it isn't heavily sauced.

Boneless Buffalo Wings
Fantastic! Recommend you use boneless chicken tenderloins. I soak the meat in buttermilk overnight. Let theses cool on a wire rack to maintain crispness; piling them on top of each other will cause sogginess. I will make big batches and freeze.

High Five Orange Rolls
The dough rolled out beautifully and the effort to make this paid off, it taste good. Our favorite orange rolls for Christmas morning.
