Yummy! Followed the advice of several reviewers. Used 1 cup applesauce and 1/4 cup oil. Reduced sugar to 1 cup 1/2.
Added 1/2 cup raisins. For the frosting, I used light cream cheese and 1/2 of powdered sugar so 2 cups. Made 1 dozen cupcakes and a 9 X 9 cake. Turned out moist and not too sweet.
