Excellent! Made it with 2/3 cup fructose and not from concentrate orange juice with pulp!

Carrot Cake III

Yummy! Followed the advice of several reviewers. Used 1 cup applesauce and 1/4 cup oil. Reduced sugar to 1 cup 1/2. Added 1/2 cup raisins. For the frosting, I used light cream cheese and 1/2 of powdered sugar so 2 cups. Made 1 dozen cupcakes and a 9 X 9 cake. Turned out moist and not too sweet. Very tasty! Satisfied my craving for carrot cake! Thx for sharing!

Creamy Coconut Cake

This is exactly like a cake a Brazilian friend of mine makes. Except she makes it with chocolate cake. So good! Lemon cake is awesome too! Thanks for sharing! Fresh coconut kicks the cake up a notch - give it a try if you can get your hands on some freshly grated coconut!

Best Ever Pie Crust

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2006
Love it! So easy to make and delicious in all recipes requiring store bought pie crust! Used it with pie and quiche! Thanks!! I used half the dough without refridgerating it and it turned out fine! So if you're in a hurry skip the chilling part and use it! The other half of the dough I chilled and they both turned out the same!

Excellent! I added some diced ham. Used fresh spinach that I nuked then chopped. Increased chedddar since I did not have feta. Didn't have mushrooms either - result: incredible! Next time I'll try it with everything - I'm sure it'll be delicious!!! Great with Best Ever Pie Crust!

Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2005
My first Butternut Squash Soup! Turned out awesome! I did follow the advice from another reviewer and added only 4 oz. cream cheese - 1/3 fat. It was really thick! Used chicken bouillon too and a dash of curry. Didn't have marjoram either but it still tasted delicious! Next time I will try the soup with heavy cream instead of cream cheese to make the soup thinner. I will experiment with other spices and herbs too I think it needs a little more flavor. My 8 month old loves the soup too so it's a winner at our house! Thanks for sharing!

Cream Puffs

Reviewed: Jun. 6, 2005
Most Excellent! I grew up in a French owned country and I'm always looking for the best French recipes. Even though this one doesn't use homemade "creme patissiere" to fill the cream puffs the vanilla pudding and cream mixture is great and really fast! The "pate a choux" or puff dough however is fabulous! I made smaller sized puffs for the kids. I drizzled some melted chocolate to decorate and sprinkled with powdered sugar! They did not last long! Merci beaucoup & Bon Appetit!
