About this Cook
Growing up in the South Pacific Islands instilled in me an appreciation for food and cooking! I learned how to cook watching my mother! My mother is a great cook! She would always have great meals at the end of each day. All events were celebrated with food! I've been fortunate to enjoy and experience Tahitian, French, Asian, and Southwestern cuisines while growing up! I love to cook, experiment in the kitchen and especially find quick recipe ideas to make my busy life easier! One of my goals is to take some cooking courses at a local college!
My favorite things to cook
Stir-frys, bread, healthy meals, anything with chocolate....anything that's edible really! I love cooking!!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Baking lots of yummy baked goods to give away around Christmas time! Celebrating "Epiphanie" with "Galettes des Rois" pastries these are so yummy!
My cooking triumphs
Finally succeeded at making bread the "old fashioned" way with yeast and without using a bread machine!!! I love the smell of baked bread!
My cooking tragedies
Burning rice as a kid!

Lamingtons
Delicious! The whole family loved these! Thanks for sharing these! I'm going to have to make these again and try them with the cream and also the strawberry jam in the center!! This is a family favorite!

Swiss Chicken Casserole I
One of my husband's favorite meals! Great with a side of rice, corn on the cob & cranberry-orange sauce! Makes tasty leftovers too!

Cranberry Sauce I
Excellent! Made it with 2/3 cup fructose and not from concentrate orange juice with pulp!
