Sweet Potatoes with Sausage and Peppers

I really enjoyed this meal and it tasted even better as leftovers. The only problem I have with it, is that it wasn't very filling.

We loved the recipe although I made modifications. I used ground italian sausage because my husband does not like beef and I added fennel and celery to the beef mixture.

The Best Vegetarian Chili in the World

I am giving this four stars because I had to change the recipe because of poor grocery shopping. I used three chili's in Ancho sauce instead of the jalapenos, equal parts cumin and cayenne pepper instead of chili powder and the juice of one lime. I found that my additions made it too spice so I added the lime. The chili was excellent the night I made it, but the next day the lime did even more work at making the spices more melodious.

Totally Groovy Chocolate Fondue

My husband and I used this as a basic recipe and made some changes. We used a toblerone bar as part of the chocolate and augmented with Semi-Sweet morsels. We added Chocolate Hazelnut liquer for the Cherry Brandy and Kahlua for coffee. It was amazing!

Southwestern Egg Rolls

I made these eggrolls pretty quickly in the morning before work. I forgot to defrost chicken so I doubled the beans. I also added corn. I also used egg roll wrappers instead of tortilla's. These were great and tasted wonderful with your basic ranch dressing.

Cheese Fondue

Southern Potato Salad

I loved this recipe. Although, I have to admit that I modified it. I really love dill relish, so I added the dill instead of the sweet. I also used spicy brown mustard and decreased the eggs by one. I only had three eggs. It would have been fine with an additional egg.

Eagles Tailgating Burgers

We served these burgers at my son's first birthday party. It was a hit. My six year old nephew loved them and he has refused hamburgers for his whole life. He liked them so much he ate two and they were easily 1/3 lb burgers. I would definitely makes these again. No changes necessary!

My child loved these. I am only giving it a four because it includes eggs. I didn't realize until later that my five month shouldn't have egg whites. Luckily, he doesn't have a problem with them!

Best Brownies

In general, I'm not a brownie lover. Although, almost all brownies that I have made have been from the box. I made this recipe as an appreciation gift for my son's childcare workers and it was a great hit. I even liked it. The brownies were more moist then the box varieties and the frosting was great. I'm a frosting lover. I believe that the brownies would taste great without the frosting.

White Cake with Lemon Filling

I really loved this cake. I gave it four stars because despite liberally greasing the cake pans it stuck to the bottom making have to make two batters for one occasion. I used wax paper on the second attempt.

White Frosting

I loved this frosting. It was not too sweet and it was one of the few frostings that I could get thick enough to use in a double layer cake. I took a reviewers suggestions and used all butter.

I made this for Christmas brunch. I substituted sausage for ham and made it with Turkey bacon. Everyone loved it and thought it was a perfect celebration breakfast.
