There I am
About this Cook
I'm a happily married Mom of a teenage son and 2 energetic girls Trying to learn how to make great meals for my family that they'll enjoy!
My favorite things to cook
I like to cook with the crockpot! I also like trying new recipes and I love allrecipes.com... the fact that you can rate recipes is awesome!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I remember making fudge, cookies and cakes at Christmas time with my Mom and I want to do the same with my kids too!
My cooking triumphs
I'd have to say when I made a recipe that had sour cream in it with DH loving every bite of it...LOL! See, my husband HATES sour cream and I think it's all psychological! If he doesn't know it's in there he'll eat it but if he sees that I dump it in a recipe forget it!!! Weirdo huh???
My cooking tragedies
I'd have to say the time this co-worker gave me a recipe for this beef thing with TOMATO PASTE...ugggh she said to use a big can of it and boy was it nasty!!! The whole dish came out like this big tomato paste glob with hamburger meat and garlic in it....needless to say it promptly hit the trash can!

Molly's Chicken
This was FABULOUS! Easy to make and the sauce was awesome over steamed rice! If you aren't into salty things I suggest using lower sodium Soy Sauce but other than that it was good and easy! Thanks so much!

Quick and Easy Brownies
AWESOME! I had to cook these a bit longer than 30 min since I used a 9x13 GLASS dish but they came out great. Crunchy on top and CHEWY GOOEY on the inside...YUM!!!! I have never made brownies from scratch before ever (always used a betty crocker mix) but I can whip this up in a jiffy with ingredients on hand. I did omit the walnuts cuz I didn't have any but I will have to make them with them the next time! Thanks so much for posting!
