Pina Colada Sorbet

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2009
Love this! I'm making it again for the second time in 2 weeks and plan on making it regularly. I followed the recipe nearly exactly except that I strained the pineapple after pureeing. The texture was oh so smooth and creamy.

Candy Ice Cream

YUM! Very tasty. Made this with chopped mini peanut butter cups and a half of a cup of creamy peanut butter. Perfect recipe for creating your favorite candy ice cream concoction. The texture was creamy and fluffy. I look forward to making this again with brownies and someday with chocolate creme filled cookies. The possibilites are endless.

Easy Cocoa Ice Cream

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2005
Delicious. Very creamy and chocolatey. I was worried that it wouldn't be rich enough but it was. I preferred it right out of the ice cream maker, soft-serve style, rather than frozen solid. Very nice smooth texture and better flavor. When I had it the next day, I defrosted it in the microwave for 15 seconds at 50% power. Definitely a keeper and will use this recipe whenever I get the chocolate ice cream craving.

Blueberry Vodka Martinis

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2004
This is a fun recipe and worth the wait! The resulting martini is to be savored not only for it's delicious flavor but for it's gorgeous sultry color. I made two batches of these this summer and will make them again when fresh blueberries are in season. Make sure to use raspberry liqueur. I tried blackberry liqueur the first time and the taste wasn't right. I made poundcake with the vodka-soaked blueberries which was tasty although the berries didn't pop with juice.

Key Lime Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2004
LOVE this recipe and so does everyone who tries the Key Lime Pie-tinis. The crushed graham crackers on the rim is a must. I have made this recipe at least a dozen times in the past few months. The only change I make is to cut the vodka down to 3 ounces.

Valentine Heart Necklaces

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2004
The cookies and frosting are absolutely delicious. The cookies may even be the best sugar/shortbread cookies that I have ever tasted. I will be making these cookies and frosting again and again. However, making the necklaces was very time consuming (adorable but time consuming). I could not find the long string licorice so I ended up having to tie 3 short strands together for each cookie which took a long time. The holes in the cookies also closed up but it was easy to open them using a pointed knife inserted in the back of the cookie and twisting gently. If you have a meyer lemon tree, you just have to make these cookies using the peel/zest from the meyer lemon. I still cannot believe how tasty these cookies are and I am not a fan of lemon cookies.
