The Mr. and I are a team. We both enjoy cooking and photography. We prepare most meals together and on occation one cooks for the other...keeps the arguing over who GETS to cook to a minimum. LOL. We enjoy Allrecipes as our favorite cooking and recipe site for many reasons.....one of which is we get to share through our photos the many delicious recipes that you share with us. Well honestly that would have to be anything and everything. We love a challange. We lean towards fish and pasta dishes. Of course we like trying our hand at asian as well as mexican and I enjoy greek, the Mr. is awesome with italian dishes. It would have to be Thanksgiving. Everyone brings a dish and we always have traditional turkey and my mom's recipe for cornbread dressing and of course gibblet gravy and cranberry sauce. And what would thanksgiving be without sweet potatos, mashed potatos and potato salad and corn, yes we are from the south. Christmas is much the same with the addition that mom always bakes mincemeat cookie just as she always has for as long as I can remember, she is now 84 and still baking. I hope I can say the same for us one day. We consider any meal we can get to the table before 9 pm a triumph. Finding the perfect wine for a meal is always rewarding too. The most recent cooking tragedy that took place was the apple pie I baked for my son's 25th birthday. Neither one of us got a bite, not even one!! Now thats a tragedy.
