I didn't have puff pastry so I rolled out Pillbury Crescent rolls, put in a cupcake tin & voila you have a popover! No need to add additional water (don't skip the lemon water bath step!) b/c I had plenty of liquid from the apples which made this sweet cinnamon sauce that I drizzled over the dessert. No time to make glaze so confectioner's sugar and a little whip cream and fresh apple slices on top! Love this recipe!
