Jambalaya II
Fabulous! This was my first time making jambalaya that didn't involve a Zatarain's box :). Like some other reviewers, I used chicken breasts. I added seasonings to the chicken broth, as well. I used Trader Joe's andouille chicken sausage, and browned it in the pot along with the green peppers. I omitted the onion and used onion powder instead. Otherwise, I followed the recipe. This is delicious, and I will definitely be making it again!

Lentil Soup III
Cheap, easy, and healthy - now that's my idea of a good recipe :). I had never made lentil soup before, and I doctored this recipe to suit my tastes and it turned out really well. I followed some reviewer suggestions and sauteed the onion with twice the amount of minced garlic before adding it to the soup. I also added chopped fresh spinach and carrots and some curry powder. This is going to become one of my regular recipes. Thanks!!

Kielbasa Bean Soup
I would recommend this soup to anyone, but especially for those experiencing a cold and miserable winter day. This soup was flavorful, healthy, and makes lots of leftovers that taste even better re-heated the next day. I made a few modifications: I used Jennie-O turkey sausage, and doubled the amount of sausage. I used a yellow squash instead of a zucchini. And, I added some extra seasonings (extra chili powder, minced and powdered garlic, some oregano, and a little bit of cayenne pepper). I will be making this again and again, especially during cold weather. Thanks for the recipe!
