About this Cook
I'm married with one wonderful son. I live in a small town in Ohio in the middle of nowhere.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook comfort food. My favorite is mac-n-cheese.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love that my family ALWAYS makes a huge pot of chili on Christmas Eve. Texas chili is the best you've ever had.
My cooking triumphs
I would like to think everything I make is great, but there are somethings that I make better than others. Mac-n-cheese is the one thing most people ask me to make for gatherings.
My cooking tragedies
I tried making this peanut butter, choco chip, banana bread recipe. I attempted it 3 times and all three times it came out horrible...maybe it was the recipe, not the cook.

Garlic Cheese Chicken Rollups
This was very easy to make, and very tasty. Even my picky 2 yr old and 5 yr old ate it up! The only cheese I could find was the Philly Cracker Spreads. It worked wonderful and will be trying the different varieties next time.

Garlic Cheddar Chicken
My husband loved it, he's a garlic-aholic. I wasn't impressed with it. I thought it was a little soggy. I'll probably make again and like others have said, cut back on the butter and see if that makes a difference.
