I learned how to cook right alongside my Mother as soon as I was tall enough(when standing on a stool) to see what she was doing. I was flipping pancakes for her by age 7, and making scrambled eggs in the microwave. My Dad taught me how to make amazing omlettes. I also took two years of Culinary Arts with some of my close friends. I now use what I was taught to cook for my fiance, and I'm slowly teaching him to cook.
My favorite things to cook
I love trying to create and make new things.Which usually end up being pastas or desserts.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Always being able to help my Mother with whatever she was cooking. I learned so much from her.
My cooking triumphs
Easy yet delicious Chicken Parmesan, and a strangely different strawberry kiwi dessert pasta.
My cooking tragedies
Lasagna, I know how to make this great lasagna with homemade sauce and everything that my friend Chyler and I created in school; but no matter how hard I try I cannot make it without her!
