I feel unquailified to rate thisrecipe since this was my very first turkey. But with the way that my husband has been raving about it for two days, I think it was a hit and I'm sure it had nothing to do with my skills or the turkey which my MIL got for free at the grocery store. (I'm not even sure the thing had a brand name on it.) Thank you for such an easy stress free day!

LOVE IT! Every single person that tastes this pie asks for the recipe or when I'll be making it again. Vey easy to make and just FABULOUS!! I do add some cinnamon to the butter sauce. I don't think it needs it other than apples and cinnamon just belong together. I will never make any other apple pie.

I think this might be the recipe on the Sure Jell box. Either way, it's delicious!! I make it every year. We like it on toast and ice cream.
