I inharited a love for cooking from my father and cook all the time. I recently graduated from Memphis college of art, and use my creativty and sence of adventure in my cooking all the time. I love to travel and camp and want to publish my own illustrted travel guides.
My favorite things to cook
What ever I feel like eating! I cook alot of chicken dishes, and I like to cook italian becauseits usally pretty simple and easy to put your own spin of italian dishes. I also enjoy cooking chicken soup and my very own creation:black bean soup with kilbasa!
Since I live a long ways from home since I moved to college I have also been into making good meals out of cheap ingrediants.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My dad taught me how to make alot of stuff with kilbasa since we are polish. I have started adding kilbasa to all kinds of things since I like it better then other sausages.
My mother also taught me to make excilent pancakes, french toast and monkey bread.
My cooking triumphs
A wonderful herb roasted cornish game hen.
Speghetti sauce from fresh farm grown tomatoes.
goat cheese stuffed chicken breast.
Herb roasted potatos with onions and carrots.
My cooking tragedies
My biggest mistakes are usally made when i get distracted and I let something burn on accident. this has happened with pancakes and grilled sandwiches. And the first time I tried to cook ppotatoes in an open fire while camping, i had no idea they would cook so quick and they turned into peices of potato coal.
