I made this recipe for Thanksgiving dinner and it was a big hit. Vegetables that tasted like candy. I used fresh yams, cubed and microwaved to soften the night before, then refrigerated to firm them up a bit. I added about 1/4 cup of orange juice to the carmel topping before pouring over the yams.
