I am a very picky eater, but I love to cook. I think it comes from the joy I get from creating things that others take pleasure in. I have just graduated college and got into the "real world," and as I take these first few steps, I branch out in the food world more and more. I ate sushi for the first time a few weeks ago! (But I won't be doing that again.)
My favorite things to cook
I don't think there is one thing that I like to cook more than anything else. I like to try new recipes. My favorite things to eat are foods including chicken, cheeses, and pasta.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite tradition is probably the same as a lot of other people... but who doesn't love cooking and decorating christmas cookies with their mom?
My cooking triumphs
I love cooking for family and friends. Around 5 times a year I plan special dinner parties to share my cooking skills with my friends. The last party I had was a three-course fondue party. It was messy, but everyone had a great time!
My cooking tragedies
I tried to make some new recipe of chocolate chip cookies with a friend of mine, and she mixed up baking soda and baking powder. Let's just say they were the least appetizing cookies I've ever seen. But we still had fun making them!
