I have been making this recipe for years...Tips chill the dough about an hour - it's easier to handle. Add 1/2 C flour. Let them bake 8-12 minutes, checking at 8,10&12 minutes - the bottoms should be golden brown. Pull the cookie sheets out and let the cookies rest on the sheets for a few minutes. Do not keep in the oven because you think these are not done - cause they are! They will harden up as they sit on the sheets and cool down. YUMMO!!! I also have tried with sugar free cool-whip - less calores and it's still just so gooood.

The one and ONLY thing this recipe fails on is saying to use dry herbs... fresh herbs make ALL the difference in ANY recipe and this one is no exception... I'll tell you what I have tried and I dare you to try it again with my alterations: Substitute 1/2 of the veg. broth with apple juice or apple cider, add a cup or so of white wine, add a couple juniper berries and allspice berries to give is (what Tyler Florence says) a holidy flavor (I got the berry idea from his brine recipe) and don't forget to use fresh herbs. I stuff the bird with a sprig of rosemary, a sprig of thyme, lemons and onions and a couple orange slices and OMG! You won't be disapointed with my adjustments.

This is the best banana bread - not the healthiest, but so great... My husband made this bread and added 1 more whole banana and it was soooo good! He put most in a loaf pan then the rest in a muffin pan - he burned the muffins a little but it was actually very good as the sugar became a little crunchy on the outside. This will be my staple banana bread recipe for a long time to come.

I was a little worried this would be too spicy because of the reviews I read so I decreased the amount of spices... What a mistake! The meat was not as flavorful as we like it - next time I will stick to the recipe (maybe even increase the spices.) I will re-rate this after we tried it again.

This is good - wonderfully refreshing. Don't get super ripe avocados as those will be hard to cut up. Add some spinach and some seared tuna and you've got a full meal.

Yummy, Yummy, Yummy! We used a ton of garlic (we love garlic) and I kept brushing the sauce on during grilling. These were one of the best tasting shrimp I've ever had. Thanks!

I followed another reviewers suggestion and it made it 5 star - I did not put green peppers in this, although my husband said it would be great so i'll give it a try next time I make this. I made my own guac and layered it ontop of the salsa/tomato layer. My husbands friend always made "the best" 7layaer dip, but this blew that out of the water!

I used the Lemon cake mix instead of the orange as other reviews suggested... But this tasted like a pound cake... my suggestion would be USE MORE LIQUOR! It was really good, but, like I said, it was a moist pound cake and not the margarita flavor I was hoping for. I will make this again and at least double or triple the liquor - esp. in the frosting. We'll have a good time when I make this cake next ;)

amazing, amazing, amazing. I just got a bread machine and cant wait to try mixing the dough with it instead of by hand... it's a little tiresome by hand. This takes a while but SO worth the wait.

These are great - I make them for my picky toddler and she gobbles them up! I sometimes sneak a little grated zucchini or mashed banana to rev up the nutrition for her.

I made this for my picky in-laws and they L-O-V-E-D it! I didnt marinate overnight and they still turned out great. Next time I will try to prepare the night before...I bet they will turn out even better!

This is great - better than bottled even better than restaurants.

So good! We used low sodium ingredients and garnished with avocado and sour cream and it was delish! It was better the next day.

After searching long and hard for a good strawberry shortcake recipe, I stumbled across this for the sauce to pour over top and WOW it was sooooo good! As with most recipes, I take two or three that I like and combine - I ended up blending some strawberries in a blender and adding it to the sauce as well as adding some sliced strawberries to the sauce right before it was done to soak up the sauce a bit, but not become soggy. I also used Splenda in place of sugar and it worked good.

Great AND easy! I used more bananas than the recipe called for - we wanted more of a banana taste with this than a vanilla taste.

The fish batter was good - but the whole process isn't worth it! I'd rather go down to the local fish and chips place and buy them!

These were great for a different kind of enchilada. They are dryer than our usual enchiladas, but still excellent.
