My favorite family cooking traditions

Quiche on New Years Day, Bunny Cake on Easter, my favorite chocolate cake with chocolate frosting for my birthday. My mom was a wonderful cook!

My cooking triumphs

Being able to feed us every night after a long day at work and the fact that my hubby would rather eat my cooking than any resturant's food.

My cooking tragedies

Burning my first attempt at fried chicken and having a very soupy creme brulee for New Years Eve one year.

Easy Red Beans and Rice

This was a fairly good and easy meal. I only used 1 can of beans and that was perfect for us.

Kicky Steak Strips with Rice

This was pretty good. I only had 1/4 cup of the worcheshire sauce so I used a 1/4 cup of balsamic vinagrette.

Simple Time Pork Chops

This was very good and I am not a big fan of pork chops. I think this would also work well with boneless skinless chicken breasts.
