This icing is perfect for sugar cookies!! They come out shiny and great! I add a bit more milk a little at a time...until it's the perfect consistency.

Slow Cooker Taco Soup

Very good recipe! A few changes to make it "great!" Instead of plain tomatoes add tomatoes w/habanero peppers (I used rotel), brown beef with onion and taco seasoning also adding chili powder, cumin, and 2-3 garlic cloves, and definitely serve this soup with shredded cheese, crunchy fritos, and sour cream....you'll get RAVE reviews!

Fudge Puddles

I followed others advice and did NOT double the shortbread. My recipe made 30 puddles and I just had a dab of filling left over.....YUMMO! I used my pestal to make the well and it worked GREAT!

These were okay. My complaints were they were hard to get uniform, a bit chewy, and flat! I agree with a previous review..you need to get a cookie cutter!

Double Tomato Bruschetta

Wow, I made this for my husband tonight and the only thing he could say is, "WOW!" I used fresh mozzerella and fresh tomatoes...but the grocery store was out of basil...so I used dried...I can't wait to try the recipe using fresh basil!! We'll make this again and again! Thanks for the recipe!

Buttermilk Pancakes II

These were good. I scaled the recipe back to feed 4 and even for the 4 of us there were leftovers. They were fluffy and good. I followed another reviews suggestion of letting the eggs and buttermilk sit out...YUM! My 1 year old at 2 big pancakes! Thanks for the recipe!

Bacon for the Family or a Crowd

I was so excited to try this recipe. I followed the instructions exactly...only to open the oven after 20 minutes and the bacon still needing to be cooked atleast another 15-20. I had very disappointing results. I ended up having to fry it anyway. I looked at the reviews and I'm going to next time turn the oven to 400 and hopefully the results will turn out better. Update: I increased the temperature to 400 and used regular bacon and it came out PERFECT!! I'm going to make it again and again this way! Thank you!

Mom's Zucchini Bread

I followed the suggestions and added an extra cup of zuchinni..my bread was good but not as moist as I would have liked it. Maybe it was me...I'll definitely try it again to make sure! Update: I tried the bread again with these changes and the recipe is definitely a 5 star! Add 2 extra cups of zucchini, sub 1/2 the all purpose flour for whole wheat, half the oil with cinnamon applesauce, and cut the sugar down to 2 cups and sub one of the cups of white for brown....I add that consists of 1 T butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup flour, 1/4 cup chopped nuts, and 1 t. cinnamon pulse it a few times and sprinkle over loaves...PEOPLE CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THIS BREAD!!
