This was awesome...the meat was so tender after simmering for 3 hours. I did tweak it alittle based on what i had on hand. I added frozen carrots with the potatos then i added frozen peas and corn (not thawed) when i mixed everything together. It was so filling and a good way to get my family to eat more veggies.

Apple Cider Pancakes

I just made these this morning and they were pretty good. If i make these again i would probably decrease the amount of nutmeg, it was a little overpowering. But overall a very good recipe.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

This recipe is WAY OVER RATED!!! There has to be an ingrediant missing, cause just like all the other reviews i read the sauce DID NOT carmelize, and by cooking the chicken for the length of time listed it really dried it out, and now my house smells like burnt soy sauce. I WILL NEVER AGAIN MAKE THIS RECIPE

Garlic Pork Roast

Very good. I followed some others advice and seasoned it then browned in oil. Covered with chicken broth and added some veggies. All i can say is there were no leftovers cause my hubby loved it so much.

Mom's Chocolate Chip Cookies

All I can say is OMG!!! These are the sofest most flavorful cookies i've ever had. The pudding will now will be my new "secret" ingredient.

Easy Guacamole

A good base, but didn't really care for the chunks of garlic and onions. I would recommend running the entire thing through a food proccesor to blend and evenly distribute the flavors more.

Rempel Family Meatloaf

A little bland for my family's taste but a great base to work with. I will try again but add my spices and maybe some bbq sauce on top for a nice glaze.

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

This Turkey was AWESOME. The only thing i did different was i added about a tsp of garlic salt with the seasoning salt. The drippings also make the best tasting gravy i've ever made. This will definetly be going into my cookbook for next yr and many more Thanksgivings :)

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

This pot roast was tender, moist and very flavorful. I mixed some of the soup mix with milk and corn starch and it made an amazing gravy...this will definetly be a regular thing in our house.

Grilled Beef Gyros

This recipe was not at all what i expected,the meat marinade tasted way to much like soy sauce..it was definetly overpowering, as well as the garlic. And the cucumber sauce, to much garlic and vinegar, and you definetly don't need to make as much as the recipe calls for, you could make about 1/4 of the recipe, as it made about 4 cups worth of sauce.Won't use again.:(

Patriotic Pork Mesquite BBQ Ribs

These ribs were awesome! The only thing i did different was marinade them over night in 2 packages of the marinade, then basted with the sauce during cooking. They were very flavorful!!!

Not Your Every Day Smoked Pork Spare Ribs

My husband has never been one for bbq sauce, so when i tried this recipe for the first time he LOVED IT. I changed the mop sauce a little, i used just plain 'ol apple juice (or cider) and some tobasco, and mopped throughout the entire cooking time. Gave just the right amount of sweetness to counteract the intense spiciness for the cayenne. A perfect sweet and spicy!
