About this Cook
I love food. There's no other way to say it. I like the tastes, the textures, everything! So most of my interests revolve around food. I like to travel (taste new cuisines), take pictures, scrapbook, read (even cookbooks!) and hang out with friends.
My favorite things to cook
Anything chocolate or pasta or my latest trend- Soups
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family doesn't have traditions really. I am trying to make new ones.
My cooking triumphs
My Wine Cheese Parties!!!! I usually make 15-20 dishes and serve them at the party. 99% of the recipes are ones I have never tried, and amazingly only 1 doesn't work out.
My cooking tragedies
I had invited 2 dear friends over for dinner. At the last minute they canceled. Good thing. I was making ravioli from scratch for the first time and it so did NOT work out. hehe. Gotta learn sometime!

Cream-Filled Strawberries
I made this for a Christmas party I was attending. Everyone loved these and asked for the recipe. Yummy! My only complaint is it is very messy to make. I also used a regular box of instant pudding (3 oz), not the 1 oz called for.

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I
This was easy to make, good to eat! I like to double the cream cheese or add some sour cream to vary it up.

Amish Casserole
This recipe is awesome! I made it because it was freezeable for a friend on bedrest. It was so good, I had to make it for myself. It's simple, delicious and easy to make.
