About this Cook
I am 43 years old and single. I am the very proud aunt of Brett and Nova, who are the best kids on Earth!! I am a season ticket holder for the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team. My interests are hockey, the Olympics, reading, history, trivia, movies, traveling (especially to England-I've been there 7 times), cooking, collecting mugs and fridge magnets.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every year on Good Friday, we make Potato Pancakes. We use the old German recipe and they're fabulous. Christmas Eve we always have baked ham and my Mom's potato salad. A winning combination!
My cooking triumphs
My chocolate chip cookies are legendary here at work! My recipe is just the standard recipe, but everyone wonders how I get them to be so soft!

Mushroom Stuffing Balls
THESE ARE AWESOME!!! The first time I made them, I didn't have bread crumbs so I had to improvise. What I did was crush up seasoned croutons and they worked very well!! I will always use the croutons now. I've made these for my Christmas party and our Super Bowl party and have gotten rave reviews.

Chicken Wilson
Yummy! I didn't have Muenster cheese, so I used Monterey Jack and it was still very good!
