it took me a couple times to get this right, but it was very good once I did. The first time it was too chewy and a little soggy, so be sure you have a big enough pan to spread it out in and stir it at regular intervals. The second time I was able to get it more crisp but the caramel topping actually tasted a tad burnt. Third try I got it right. Just make sure to check it often. Even though the first two batches weren't perfect we still ate every bite, so you pretty much can't go wrong with this recipe!

I've made this several times, both for family and company and it always turns out good. I will never make another roast without this rub on it!
