Potatoes Au Gratin with Fennel and Bacon

This is sooo easy to make and is well worth the cooking time. My family love it. Last time I omitted the bacon and used Mexican cheese. It was still delicious.

This recipe is awesome. I made one for a friend and was asked to make another for another party the following week. I sprinkled a little more coffee liqueur on each sponge layer as I was assembling the cake and also added a tiny amount of coffee liqueur to the cream before beating. The only problem I had was getting the coconut to stick to the sides of the frosted cake. Other wise it was a great success.

Chocolate Nut Biscotti

This recipe was sooooo easy and the biscotti turned out really well. I drizzled half with chocolate and dipped the other half in chocolate. The dipped ones were the favourites. I also substituted almond essence instead of vanilla and used almond slivers, which I chopped up first.

Soccer Ball Cake

I made this for a friend's birthday party in a local restaurant and all the staff were amazed. Really easy to make. I used cherry laces, but it still looked good.

Jiffy Jambalaya

I used chorizo sausage for this. It would be just as nice with Italian sweet sausage, if you wanted something less spicy. Nice and filling on a cold winter night.

Szechwan Shrimp

Nice and quick to make, and not too spicy. It's easy to use up veg too. I used mushrooms, onions, yellow squash (cut into thin julienne strips). My husband loved it.

Sock it to Me Cake I

This cake is easy to make and delicious. I used the glaze for Sock II. My husband couldn't wait for it to cool down!!! I'd only make half the quantity of glaze next time though.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

This is by far the best chocolate cake recipe I have ever come across. I get requests to make it for parties and birthdays all the time. I top with the Satiny Chocolate Glaze to finish it off. So easy to make.

Pecan Sour Cream Pound Cake

My daughter doesn't like nuts, so I left out the pecans. I also substitued 1 cup of flour with ground almonds. Delicious and a sure winner, yet so easy to make.

Chocolate Pound Cake III
