I'm now retired and have time for all the cooking I didn't have much time for before. Love to cook.

Aunt Joyce's Chocolate Cake
I was looking for a moist dense chocolate cake and I found it in this one. This was so good I didn't even frost it. I only had semi-sweet chocolate squares so that is what I used. Didn't cut back on the sugar either but was wonderful.

Apple Butter I
I made a double batch of this the first time and it came out too sweet. The next time I made it I cut the sugar in half. Left everything else the same. Could be my apples were sweeter. However it is a good recipe.

Sarah's Applesauce
This is such a good applesauce recipe. I didn't really care for the store bought applesauce, but we had a lot of apples given to us and decided to try it. Really glad I did.
