I grew up in California but after High school I moved to Florida were I fell in Love with my husband and the art of cooking. I became the Head Cook for a School I worked for for a year until I was able to fulfill my #1 passion, to travel. I currantly live in China were I am studying.
My favorite things to cook
Lasagna - I love how it keeps getting better
Apple Cranberry Crisp- or any Crisps for that matter.
Enchiladas - Especially the white sauce kind
My favorite family cooking traditions
I am primarily polish so we make Perogies every year around Christmas time. Also we make a lot of Sausage and saurkraut dishes.
My cooking triumphs
Since living in china I have had to learn how to make a lot of things from scratch. Examples: Cottage Cheese, Ricotta Cheese, Cream Cheese, Sour Cream, Caramel, Spagetti Sauce ect. So a lot of dishes that require these elements have come out so much better using these ingredients that are homemade.
My cooking tragedies
I cannot make stroganoff for the life of me! but I'm working on it.
