Moist German Chocolate Cake

Absolutely Wonderful!!! The only thing I did was add chocolate frosting to the sides of the cake, otherwise I followed the recipe exactly. I also used the German Chocolate Frosting I by Martha on this site. I was pretty proud of my creation, so I submitted the photo!! Oh yeah I used heart shaped pans since it was Valentines Day!!!

Italian Sausage, Peppers, and Onions

Delicious!! I cut the recipe in half since I only had half the sausage. I used spicy sausage and added hot pepper flakes for a little extra spice. Otherwise I followed the recipe. My hubby orders something similar at a local Italian restraunt and it comes with a marinara. I think maybe next time I will use pasta or rice with it to make it a complete meal. Excited to try different variation next time. Very tasty! This is a keeper, Thanks!

Saltine Toffee Cookies

These turned out alright, the pan I used wasnt the best so most of the carmelly stuff sank to the middle so when it was ready to break it was mushy there, gooey is probably a better word. Very Rich! but tasty, my kids love them, hubby wanted them to be firmer, but thought they were alright. If you use foil you MUST use cooking spray, I forgot too and had a rough time peeling it off the bottom before breaking it up. Besides the problems with the foil & pan it was a very simple tasty recipe.

I have to say this is just the dish I've been looking for, the sauce was delicious!! It is real close to a dish I've had at a local restaurant. Very easy to make. This is a keeper!

Stuffed Green Peppers I

I loved this and so did my husband, I love when i add cheese to something and he raves about it. He normally wont eat melted cheese in or on anything, tee hee, I didnt use tomatoes since I didnt have any. Nice change from my usual peppers, will make this way from now on.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Noodles

Loved this one!! I was able to make the best chicken noodles ever!! I like a gravy rather than soup so i added the Tbls. of Corn Starch w/ water. I didnt have any frozen noodles so I used a bag of dry egg noodles and it turned out fine, noodles were a little soggy but the gravy sooo made up for it. I also added poultry seasoning, garlic, carrots and soup base(1/2 the required amount, next time i will use all).I didnt have a problem with graying or translucent veggies?? I suppose the soup base helped with color. 4 stars since I had to doctor it up.

Excellent Meal, kids even loved it!!! I didnt add the beans since hubby doesnt care for them, I did add seasoning to the meat. It turned out very Yummmy! Thanks for a great Mexi dish!
