Just like most, I substituted with half and half and used a whole jar of pesto. Also added chopped tomatoes and mushrooms and squeezed some fresh lemon juice over the finished product...mmmm, yummy. Totally awesome recipe that is simple but restaurant quality. Friends simply loved it! Next time might add roasted peppers just for a little color and flavor.

These cookies were a big hit with my friends and family. I was told that I could give Mrs. Field a run for her money with these cookies...I've been asked to make them again this weekend. This time I might decrease the chocolate chips to 1 cup and add nuts. Will use 2 whole eggs instead of 1 1/2 eggs. Revised review...The key to sucess of this recipe is to follow the recipe to a T, well maybe not so much chips...don't change anything, especially the eggs and be careful not to over cook them.
