About this Cook
I'm a wife, mother of 2, and full time teacher. I love trying out new recipes, but wish I had more time to create fantastic meals during weeknights.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook pasta, chicken, and potatoes, rices...
My favorite family cooking traditions
Any family get together is a big noisy time with a lot of "helpers" in the kitchen.
My cooking triumphs
Making a perfect French omelet, and I don't even like eggs.
My cooking tragedies
First time ever roasting a bird as a newlywed: it looked beautiful, but was upside down in the pan! How was I supposed to know the breast-side went up?!!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings
Very simple, and a good recipe, thank you. We only used one can of refrigerated biscuit dough for dumplings (we made the dumplings very small)--it made plenty so we baked biscuits using the second can.

Super Duper Bean Salad
My husband loved this. I omitted the lima beans, and my husband requested that the next time I make this that I only put in half the called for amount of garbanzo beans, and to make enough dressing for the beans to be completely covered by the liquid.
