I have two children and a fantastic husband. I work full-time outside the home so I love time-saving recipes but I sometimes get on a kick where I love to bake from scratch and spend hours in the kitchen. Casseroles are a big time-saver for my family. My family also loves it when I make my mother-in-laws recipe for chicken and dumplings. Thanksgiving is my favorite time of the year. The past 3 years I have been in charge of the turkey and most of the sides. I made a pumpkin cheesecake this year for the holidays. I'd never made any cheesecake and I am never in charge of the sweets. I gave it a try and used Paula Deen's recipe and it was wonderful. Everyone loved it. The first batch of browines I ever made. My family won't let me live it down. No one could eat them!!
