Hey everyone, good to be here! I'm a Jersey boy who grew up in Vermont and now lives in Colorado. I have been into cooking since I was about 10. I helped my mom with her catering business until I was about 19. I then joined the military and learned to develop my own style of cooking, as I was no longer under my boss's (mom) supervision. I became very interested in Italian/seafood/and grilling. Although I enjoy just about anything that involves being in the kitchen. Today I enjoy cooking more than ever. To me, there is nothing better than spending a few hours outside, enjoying the outdoors with a beer, cigar, and a REALLY big grill. Anything on the grill, seafood, Italian, breakfast, hearty dishes.....it keeps going and going.... Every year we would have a family get together. At this reunion, we would have a buffett table with about six crock pots filled with meats for sandwich makings. We would have meatballs, hot turkey, beef, keilbasa and saurkaut. Not to mention all the brats, burgers and like items coming off the grill. We really like to eat in my family. I'm of Russian/English decent, but I grew up eating like an Italian. Im proud to say, that I think I have one of the best marinara recipes out there. I know, I know everyone probably thinks that, but I really like mine. Can't make a good cream puff for the life of me. I must have tried and failed with about 6 batches one afternoon.
