I am married with 2 children. My aspiration is to become a Professional Bass Angler, but in the mean time I am a stay at home dad and Home Improvement Contractor. I love to bake, but my favorite recipe of all time is Chicken Picata. My mom and I used to bake bread all the time when I was younger. The only thing I remember about the bread was not liking the wheat berries she put in it. Aside from the wheat berries, I don't think there is any greater cooking tradition than including your children. I really appreciate my mom taking the time to include me. My Grandfather has always done the holiday cooking. This year he asked me to take over. I wouldn't really consider this a triumph, but more of an honor or right of passage. Not necessarily tragedies, but learning experiences. Like the time I was making a pumpkin cheese cake; it was midnight and I had been baking for 9 hours already. I decided it would be much easier if I mixed the pumpkin, cream cheese, and sugar all at once instead of creaming the cheese and sugar first. Yeah, so bad idea! The filling looked more like cottage cheese than sour cream. At that point it became an extra special Thanksgiving treat for the dog.
