Pretty good cookies... I burned my second batch. Simply bc I had 2 different types of cookie pans. Makes a big difference.

Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

The only fault I found with this cheese cake was the raspberries. So we ate around the them. But the rest of it was Soooo good! I'm making it today without raspberries for thanksgiving. May just use a raspberry or strawberry topping.

Adobo Sirloin

It wasn't my favorite. I made these as fajitas. Fried it in 2 tablespoons of corn oil. The texture was great, though. I only used a little bit of adobo sauce and it was still overpowering. Next time I think I'll just use my own mix of marinade. Cut out the chipotle peppers in adobo sauce.

Grilled Fish Steaks

My husband prepared this while I was at work, The only adjustments we made was that we baked it since we don't have a grill. We baked it at 450 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. I'm not a fish lover either but this was great!

Caldo De Res (Beef Soup)

I haven't had this soup since I was a little girl. I made it and it was delicious! Just don't forget the lime! It's a very important ingredient. I didn't use the exact meat it called for. I actually used 2 lbs of beef meat chopped and it was delicious. Husband loved it! I also took the advice someone else gave-let the meat boil some before you add the rest of the vegetables. And I also didn't measure it exactly as the recipe says.
