About this Cook
Sharon and I have been married for a few years and love experimenting with cooking. We used to hate fish in all forms, but when we finally learned how to cook, we now regularly eat tilapia and salmon.
My favorite things to cook
As I mentioned before, Sharon and I used to hate fish and now we finally like to cook it quite a bit. It's amazing how many recipes on this website are incredible. I alwayse enjoy reading the comments left. I feel like I am a better cook because of it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My father is Polish and makes all kinds of Polish dishes. My favorite meal he made while growing up was called "Green Bean Casserole," but not the typical kind you think of. It is a dish with ground beef, green beans, and potatoes in layers. It's delicious!
My cooking triumphs
I remember the first time I decided to make Chicken Fettucine Alfredo from scratch. The Alfredo sauce was the most difficult thing I had tried to that time. It ended up coming out better than even the local Olive Garden! I was very proud. Too bad I can't make that sauce all the time or I'd be a blimp!!

Chicken and Sun-Dried Tomato Bruschetta
An absolutely wonderful recipe! My wife and I love to eat this with the grilled focaccia bread! It always comes out really great! I always add pine nuts to the salad as well which adds a nice little crunch!

Maple Salmon
There's not much to be said about this recipe than what has already been said! We've made this recipe about 10 times over the last year and we never tire of making it! I'm a big fan of having it with a nice almond rice pilaf as well :-)

Tantalizingly Tangy Meatloaf
This is an excellent recipe that my wife and I have included in our meal cycle. It goes really well with Steve's Garlic Home Fries as well. I would recommend making more sauce. The pineapple preserves can not be found easily, but they really work well if you use them!
